Dustin is a veteran who participated in Partners in Careers’ HVRP program. He found out about Roots to Road online and was immediately interested in getting involved because of his passion for sustainable agriculture. Dustin was accepted into the Roots to Road program and began building his skills on the Roots to Road farm. By the middle of his first season with Roots to Road he secured a job offer with BiZi Farms and completed the season with a full time position.
Thanks to Roots to Road, Dustin was able to grow his passion for sustainable agriculture and build his employability skills. Dustin has been accepted into a vocational rehabilitation program and is currently employed at Patriot Factory. Dustin is now planning to apply for his own plot at Heritage Farm where he intends to practice permaculture and regenerative agriculture.
